Default intro

hey joey thanks for the forum! i have used these forums in the past on several different cars and can be worth there weight for sure.

I am still new to land rovers all though im on my 5th one. i live in ky and have some of the greatest people to get advice from (john hamilton and nathan crabtree). so with that being said it makes owning a rover kinda nice.

When working with GEMS vehicles. Never try to locate a misfire by pulling plug leads off - pull the injector connector instead. Otherwise you can blow up the ECU.

Secondly never swap ECUs between vehicles to test them, because both vehicles and ECUs may stop working, and you'll have to have them all reset by a franchised LR dealer (ouch!).
