Default Mischievous dog- locksmith help

I own a JLR and a labrador.. Mischievous as that little fella is, he swallowed my car keys and I really canít miss work, tomorrow. The vet said that it might take him about 24 hours to pass it.. should I call a locksmith?

Seriously depends on the model of vehicle and how you locked it. But if it were me I would find a ride to work it will probably be cheaper.

When working with GEMS vehicles. Never try to locate a misfire by pulling plug leads off - pull the injector connector instead. Otherwise you can blow up the ECU.

Secondly never swap ECUs between vehicles to test them, because both vehicles and ECUs may stop working, and you'll have to have them all reset by a franchised LR dealer (ouch!).
