Default New to land rover world

Hello y'all just wanted to say thank you for the acceptance and I am a new land rover owner since October 2017. I purchased a 2004 Land Rover D2 HSE7 with 112000 miles. Always have love the look of the safari body style. Not a huge fan of the newer stuff. I do own Jeeps and have never had any problems with them minus the typical death wobble. I hope to learn a lot about the Land Rover side.

When working with GEMS vehicles. Never try to locate a misfire by pulling plug leads off - pull the injector connector instead. Otherwise you can blow up the ECU.

Secondly never swap ECUs between vehicles to test them, because both vehicles and ECUs may stop working, and you'll have to have them all reset by a franchised LR dealer (ouch!).
