LR3 Trailer hitch fit
 

I bought 2009 LR3 and sold my 2007 LR3. Each of course, had it's own hitch attachment.
I fear I may have mixed them up or something... is there any reason they would not fit eachother? I recently went to put the hitch into the new one, and it won't quite fit. it seems a bit too long for the receiver by like maybe a quarter inch or something. Very odd.
Anyone have any insights? I would have thought they would all fit the same for LR3's
