How many miles?

When was the last time you changed the fuel filter?

How old is the fuel pump?

Have you test fuel pressure?

What type of plugs are you using and how old/miles are on them?

younggun88 11-16-2011 07:11 PM

165k miles, changed fuel pump 11/14/11, fuel filter changed 11/14/11, fuel pressure is at 38psi, plugs changed 11/15/11 champion plugs

How long does it take for the fuel pressure to leak off after it is pressurized?

over night it dropped down....

I am sure you have tried this, but disconnect the battery for an hour or so to see if it resets the ECU... also does it have any OBDII codes?

younggun88 11-17-2011 10:33 AM

i will disconnect batt. as of right now, no codes. but before i cleared codes i had 6 codes, as follows: 1193, 0181, 0116, 0125, 0118, 1193.......i am going to cut an rerun wires for the CPS now while batt is disconnected. thx for the help so far
