Default Thanks! And one more problem...

Thanks for the help (Joey) on the other problem. I will check the fuel pressure.

One more problem I'm having with my 99 Disc I is that it seems to be getting vapor lock.
Is there anything I can do to fix this. I usually open the hood after I park it and go into a store or something to stop the engine compartment form heating up so much. This usually prevents it. (If it is vapor lock).

What happens is if I leave it sitting (after driving) for more than like 5-10 minutes, then I have to wait ~20 minutes before it will start.

Again... sounds like a fuel pump issue... Rovers don't normally vapor lock, this is a normal issue with carbs and heat.

When working with GEMS vehicles. Never try to locate a misfire by pulling plug leads off - pull the injector connector instead. Otherwise you can blow up the ECU.

Secondly never swap ECUs between vehicles to test them, because both vehicles and ECUs may stop working, and you'll have to have them all reset by a franchised LR dealer (ouch!).
