Question brake caliper bracket

does anyone know if there is a special socket to remove the star bolts on the front brake caliper brackets of a 04 discovery thank you erietim

You can usually get the female torx I.E star socket set at any automotive parts stir or if you have a harbor freight near by that would be the cheapest way to get them.

When working with GEMS vehicles. Never try to locate a misfire by pulling plug leads off - pull the injector connector instead. Otherwise you can blow up the ECU.

Secondly never swap ECUs between vehicles to test them, because both vehicles and ECUs may stop working, and you'll have to have them all reset by a franchised LR dealer (ouch!).
