Default P38 EAS Problems, please help.

Hi, I am a new member and I hope someone can help me out. My 1995 Range Rover P38 is down on the bump stops due to an air leak. I located the leak and fixed it. Now I wanted to reset the code and went out and purchased a EAS Kicker Lite to do the job. My problem is that when I plugged the Kicker in the OBDII socket the Kicker light flashes blue and then red once which indicates no reply in wakeup as the Kicker user guide says. I was told to check to see if the ecu is power cycling by looking to see if the eas inhibit switch lights up and hear the relay click which means that the ecu is powered up. I will try this option but also hoping someone can give me some new suggestions. Please help.
