Default Problem with Discovery Alarm

I have a 1999 Discovery and have a problem with the alarm.

When I start the engine the alarm will sound and just recently it's also started going off intermittently while driving along.

Has anyone else had this problem and do you have any suggestions as to what I can do to solve it.

I would recommend posting this at http://www.landroverworld.org this site is not really monitored any longer.

But I would say that you either have a battery going dead or corrosion in the fuse box.

When working with GEMS vehicles. Never try to locate a misfire by pulling plug leads off - pull the injector connector instead. Otherwise you can blow up the ECU.

Secondly never swap ECUs between vehicles to test them, because both vehicles and ECUs may stop working, and you'll have to have them all reset by a franchised LR dealer (ouch!).

Then left it in the house over night (mine was very wet) Found one of them little packets of silica you get in lots for things these day to stop moisture building up then when refitted it the next morning it worked tutuapp routing numbers
