The following is how to refit the side windows, but apply's to the Alpine Windows as well. I always find it best to ask someone that does windows for a living to refit, but then again I always tend to break glass.

Thoroughly clean the opening to be glazed.

Clean the glass and fit the mounting rubber,
ensuring that the glass sits correctly in the
groove.

Fit a draw cord around the exterior of the
mounting rubber.

To aid assembly, coat the flange in the bodyside
with liquid soap.

Position the assembled glass and rubber
mounting to the opening in the body, with the
tails of the draw cord fed into the interior of the
vehicle.

With assistance from a second operator, pushing
the glass and mounting rubber into the opening,
pull the draw cord from the mounting rubber
enabling the seal to ride up over the retaining
flange.

Ease the inner section of the mounting rubber
over the interior trim panel.

When working with GEMS vehicles. Never try to locate a misfire by pulling plug leads off - pull the injector connector instead. Otherwise you can blow up the ECU.

Secondly never swap ECUs between vehicles to test them, because both vehicles and ECUs may stop working, and you'll have to have them all reset by a franchised LR dealer (ouch!).
